In the beginning...

Today's first reading (Genesis:1-19) is the beginning the Bible. The beginning to the greatest story ever told tells us how God created everything including you and me.

We always need to be reminded of where we came from and where we are going. Our source is God and one day we will go back to God. In the meantime while we are living and breathing on the earth that he created we do our best to protect the earth and preserve human life from conception until natural death.

Today is a good day to thank God for creating our world, everything in it, and you and me!
